Description
Simple door stop / retainer / latch.
Our used case was to keep the attic door open, instead of swinging in the middle of the landing. Constaqntly being waled into when leaving the bathroom!
Affied with 2 small countersunk screws.
For those who are about to comment on building regulations (I live in the UK, for those interested). Our house pre-dates the requirement for a fire door on the attic stairs. And if we did have a fire door, the fire would go through the wall immediately to it's left (made mostly of thin T&G wood) in a few seconds, so defeats object!
