‘Air-Cooler’ - a mildly cooler fan
‘Air-Cooler’ is a fan, which blows air over an ice-pack. This provides the sensation of refreshing and chilled air, emanating from the outlet or when sat directly in front of the fan. Which is nice!
Depending on the ice-pack you print, and providing you follow the instructions, this cooling-effect can last for between 1 and 2 hours, and has been shown to provide cool air of 17ºC (directly at the fan outlet) in an ambient of around 24ºC.
That said, this device is not an air-conditioner, it won’t effectively cool your room or house, it might not even cool you - it just feels nice! Please read more in the photo and the manual to understand what this does, and what it doesn’t do.

Yes I do! I’ve always wondered what a slightly cool slow-moving motion of air feels like! Then this is for you.
2) Do you want to cool your house or room down?
No I understand that this device will not cool my room, in fact, in a thermodynamically isolated system - using this and a freezer would actually heat the system up faster! I just want to feel slightly cool air for maybe 1 hour tops. Perfect, this is for you.
3) Are you fine with using nearly 1kg PLA on this?
Yes I love printing and don’t mind that at least two of the prints will take around a day each and I love using my filaments! Great, this is for you!!
