Cutting Pin Marking Gauge

This is a marking gauge using a No.11 Exacto knife blade as a scratch or cutting marking pin. Marking gauges are used to accurately exact layout lines on wood, metal and plastic. Using a knife edge can achieve reference lines up to thousandth of an inch. It does use an Exacto knife blade, so be careful.

I used a M5 cap screw to hold down the fence and a M2.5 screw with brass insert to attach the knife blade.
