Die Press

I have a friend who was in need of a way to cut clay more efficiently. I took this as an opportunity to design a press that she could use to achieve this goal.

Everything is laid out as it should be printed, so no rotating should be necessary.

I printed the press in PETG with 5-7 perimeters for strength depending on the part, and assembled it with 10 m5x45 socket head bolts and 10 m5 nuts.

The die holder will need to be glued to the bottom of the linear gear. It should fit snuggly within the ridge on the back of it. It also helps to glue the inner body to the base for added strength (3D Gloop ftw) 

This is perfect for play dough or clay, and the included die plate can be used to create your own dies. Just slap it on the back of whatever die you want to use.
