Silica Gel Box with Twist Lid (net 30 cc)

30cc (net) silica gel box (also includes the same box unperforated)

I couldn’t find similar silica gel boxe at thingiverse with these sizes, so I decided to design and print my own.

Dia: 50mm, height: 25mm. Net volume: 30cc (exactly).

No supports needed.

I tried both 0.2mm and 0.28mm resolutions. Almost no difference in results. So, better to use 0.28mm which reduces print time significantly (3.5hrs vs 2.5hrs).

To avoid “elephant foot” problem at first levels I increased the hole diameters by 0,3mm (1.5mm vs 1.8mm). The results are quite strong and fit each other very firmly. Dry soap brush at first use makes the twist (of the lid) very smooth and firm.
