Description

Last Christmas, my brother gave me a package of No Mo' Skidz adult wipes. LIttle did he know that 3 months later, we would be facing The Great Toilet Paper Shortage of 2020. I designed this to provide comfort to those using our throne when that last square of TP comes off the roll.

I suppose it could be used to store other things. I even opened up the bottom of it so it could be attached like a wall plate for a standard light switch. Those holes could be used to screw it into something else. 3M adhesive stickers work as well.

Print instructions

Support material is required for this model, but I tried to make it as minimal as possible. The lever definitely needs it and I used it for the hole where the lever locking shaft goes just to give it a bit more of a circular shape. It's easily removed.

You'll want to push and pull the top face and bottom box together and apart several times. Make sure it is easy enough to come apart. You don't want to have to pull extra hard when it is on the wall to get it off.

I added a spot for 1/4" magnets in the lever and underside pieces. The thought was that the lever would eventually not be able to stand on its own after repeated use. I paused the print at the appropriate layer height, dropped the magnet (without the adhesive on), and had North facing up on both prints. I let the printer just cover them up with plastic after that to keep them in place. This step is optional though.

The underside and top face will need to be glued together. I'm not good enough at making snaps. You'll want to glue it together AFTER you put the lever in.
