Adjustable Pipe Clamp

This model has been updated with a V2 version that requires M3 hardware! A .STEP file is now also included that you can use as a starting point for custom dovetail add-ons. Thanks to @bequ3 for his comments and improvements ;)

I needed a clamp that would allow me to mount a laser level to a 3rd hand (ceiling support jack). For this purpose, I modelled a universal pipe clamp with a guide rail for the laser level mount (this is the model you see in the images). I've changed the guide rail with a dovetail mount allowing others to add their own extensions to the super clamp.

The mount is designed around 28 mm to 30 mm pipes, but it should fit both smaller and larger diameter tubes. You'll need the following hardware to assemble this super clamp:

• M3 x 30 mm countersunk bolt (for the hinge)
  • You could use a slightly longer 35 mm bolt if you want to play it safe ;)
• M3 x 40 mm bolt (for the clamping pins)
• M3 regular hex nut (for the clamping pins)
• M3 locknut/nylock nut (for the hinge)
