Description

Here's a crate I designed and built for my Pelago commuter front rack. It features a 3D printed frame and a spring loaded quick release mechanism.

  • 12 x 426mm x 40mm x 8mm wood slats
  • 6 x 276mm x 40mm x 8mm wood slats
  • Epoxy glue
  • Polyurethane wood glue
  • 4 x M5 16mm hex bolts
  • 8 x M3 8mm hex bolts
  • 8 x M3 nyloc nuts
  • 12 x 3mm x 12mm wood screws
  • 5mm diameter coil spring from a pencil
  • some 8mm steel tube for the handles
  • cotton bar tape
