Description
Holes drilled in plywood, MDF or chipboard can have unpleasant edges. This grommet is easy to apply and is the finishing touch to your work. The two parts are identical and fit into each other along a faint spiral. Once pressed together they can only be released bij turning, which normally is not an applied power.
As always this is a parametric FreeCad file, meaning that you can change the depth, width, flange, or whatever, as you like. For those who are not into CAD drawing there are .stl and print files for sheets of 18 and 9 mm thick and holes of 35, 30 and 20 mm in diameter.
The print files are for PLA and have an infill of 80 %. It is also a good stringing test ;)
