K8200 X Y axis Full Rebuild

Here's my rebuild of the X and Y axis of the Velleman K8200. It features GT2 belts, tangential clamping for the use of Igus linear bearings (Also works for normal ball bearings). It is way more sturdy than the original design and it assures a good alignement of the bearings.

You will need:

for the Y axis;

• 8 M3x20mm

for the X axis;

• 8 M3x20mm

for the front Y holder;

• 2 M5x16mm
• 2 M3x16mm
• 2 M3x6mm
• 1 axis of 5mm outer diameter with a lentgh of 31mm (a M5x30 should work fine)
• 1 GT2-6mm Idlerpulley with an inner diameter of 5mm

For the back Y holder;

• 1 M3x6mm
• 2 M3x12mm
• 5 M3x16mm
• 2 M3x20mm
• 1 GT2 16 teeth pulley

The files have been uploaded as STL and 3MF. Solidworks files or STEP coudl be added if needed.
