Wanhao Duplicator 6/Monoprice Maker Ultimate Mount for Logitech C922

For your consideration is a simple mount for a Logitech C922 webcam for Wanhao Duplicator 6 / Monoprice Maker Ultimate printer (for the printer's left side). The mount fits into the top case slots and allows the camera to hang on the side of the printer. 

Most of the camera mounts I've ever found for Duplicator 6 are bed mounts, which may not make much sense for larger models. In this case, you may also not be able to see the entire model, but at least the camera will stay relatively level to the nozzle so you can always check for issues as the print grows.

I designed the mount to also work with the camera's stock hardware as much as possible, though some light disassembly is still required (do this at your own risk). 

The camera has a little kickback platform at the end of the base where it can connect to a tripod. It's possible to disassemble the tripod mount (3 screws total – two easily visible and one inside of the tripod mount). The little kickback platform has two plastic inserts that allow it to swivel. These inserts can be taken out of the stock part and inserted into this mount and then screwed back together into the tripod mount assembly for a secure fit. 

For my build, I also coated the outside of the part that houses the plastic hinges in a thin layer of CA glue. That's one of the most fragile parts of the mount and will separate easily along the layer lines with a little bump of the camera. So adding just a bit of glue before installing gives it just a bit more strength than just raw plastic.

The camera ends up being mounted upside down but most software should allow for the image to be rotated the right way up. 

Also, I designed it for C922 specifically, but looking at some of Logitech's other cameras it looks like the same mount mechanism may apply to some of their other cameras.
