Description
I use an OEM NOIR Pi Cam that does not have power traces on the PCB mounting holes, so I designed a lightweight camera & IR led mount.
My mount is designed to directly fit the gooseneck jointed arm setup: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4227360 from TR-909
Hardware:
4x (M1.5x4) self tapping screws - Camera PCB to Cam_Holder
4x (M1.7x8) self tapping screws - Holder back to holder front
2x (M3x12mm) Nut & Bolt - Holder back to gooseneck attachment
1x (M3x20mm) Nut & Bolt - Gooseneck attachment to gooseneck
electrical connections are made via tiny ring terminals, I used these ones: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/143812893360
Solder Earth Tags M2 Connector. 0.079" Brass + RoHs Tin 6g EG26
The IR LEDs I used are: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07GND2GWL
Akozon Infrared LED Light 1 Pair LED Fill Lights 3W Illuminator For Raspberry Pi 3/2/B+ Infrared 850IR Night Vision Camera Module
They are not anywhere near 3W, they all seem to say that.
I power them via a 3.3v: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001837049300.html
