Revopoint scanner powerbank handle

This is a handle to fit onto the phone clip that screws into the bottom of a Revopoint 3d scanner.

It uses the charger module from a cheapo 18650 powerbank and either that cell or a couple of cells from discarded disposable vapes.  If you use more than one cell, remember to solder them in parallel not series - the charger module needs 4v, not 8v!

Also remember to either screw or glue the top to the bottom once the parts are inserted as the scanner is a bit heavy and you wouldn't want the holder to separate so the scanner falls on the floor, would you?

I printed the top bit with the screw at 100% infill to try to make it strong.  It hasn't failed for me yet, but be careful - it's a weak spot.  If it fails, or if you just want to be safe not sorry, drill a hole in the top and insert a camera screw (1/4-20 UNC) from the inside.

The attached model files are of version 2, the photos are of version 1.  Version 2 has rounder corners for a more comfy fit in the hand.
