One of the annoyances I've discovered with ESP32-CAM boards is that the cameras are not uniformly aligned; what is “up” for one unit is not “up” for another.  This in turn has made getting a case I like difficult.  So I made my own.

The case provided here has a back that exposes all the pins on the board, without letting them stick out beyond the case itself; this makes (re)programming the unit easier, as well as remixing it to perform other duties.  The post on the back in turn attaches to the tripod mount using an M3 screw; a ¼-20 nut fitted into the mount will allow you to attach it to a tripod, naturally.  An optional antenna mount is provided for those who need one; it is intended to be attached to the tripod mount with more M3 screws.

The rotation issue is solved by the post mount, which has grooves that align it in any of four positions to coordinate with the camera that came with your board.

Finally, I chose to power mine using a standard micro-USB charger, so I needed an adapter.  I used these:

I soldered only the VCC and GND pins in place, removing the others, and made a holder for it that can be twist-mounted to the 2020 rails of my Ender 5 Plus (and of course, many other 3D printers).  A tiny wedge is included; after inserting the USB connector board, put the narrower part of the wedge between the upper tab of the holder and the board and gently push it in until it clicks into place.

The tripod base shown in the photos is another of my models:
