Description

Print at 0.2mm layer height.  No supports required.

In addition to the print, you will need:

  1. 18650 non-protected lithium battery (not the longer ones with the chip in them)
  2. Keystone 228 battery contact
  3. Keystone 209 battery contact
  4. 4mm X 50mm nickel strip (X2)
  5. 24-28 gauge  wire

Assembly instructions:

  1. Solder one of the nickel strips to the 228 battery contact a couple mm left of center as shown in the pic
  2. Feed the strip through the hole then snap the battery contact into place.
  3. Wrap the strip around the back and up through the second hole in the base (see photo)
  4. Solder a bit of wire to the 209 battery contact (see photo)
  5. Feed the other end through the channel on the left and pull up out the top
  6. Solder the wire to the other nickel strip, feed it through it's hole and around and up like the other (see photo)
  7. Press into the base.  This is very snug - either use a press or lightly tap with a mallet until it is fully seated (there is a detent you must snap past).
  8. Insert battery.

MAKE SURE BATTERY POSITIVE TERMINAL IS UP!!!  Damage to your camera may result if it is put in upside down.

DO NOT TRY TO CHARGE IN THE CAMERA.  This model does not include the smart battery controller that the OEM packs contain (uses the middle terminal).  If you charge in the camera it will likely overcharge and possibly explode the battery - damaging your camera.  Remove the battery and charge using a 18650 battery charger.
