Jack-O-Lantern Toothpaste Tube Squeezer

Help promote oral hygiene this Halloween, Print your kids a copy of this cheeky Jack-O-Lantern toothpaste tube squeezer!

Insert a partly depleted toothpaste tube through the mouth slot and tug to squeeze the toothpaste evenly towards the cap-end. The squeezer can then be removed or left attached to the tube.

Unlike Halloween candy this will promote oral care. Get the last of that toothpaste out without fuss!



Printing Instructions

The object is 5mm in thickness. Begin with black or dark grey, adding 'pause at height' code so that your printer pauses on the layer after 3mm (Ex: 3mm / 0.2mm = 15 layers. IE, in this case add code to pause at the start of layer 16*), changing filament colour to orange.

Pause Gcode implementation varies per printer, it is recommended to find information on your machine online.

If your printer does not support automatic pause, you may be able to manually pause the print and change the filament.
*Different slicers may add the pause code at the beginning or end of the selected layer.

If you need a larger slot you can scale the object slightly in your slicer (along X/Y, Leave Z at 100%). You could also adjust 'hole horizontal expansion' to adjust the size of the hole.

Optionally you can include a colour change to orange-yellow after black, and print the last 3-4 layers as orange. This can mimic the look of thick rind inside the eyes and mouth.
