Description

This is a golf club bag clip to keep your clubs in place in your golf bag. It is really useful for keeping track of your clubs so you do not leave one on the hole (recommend a contrasting color filament from your bag so it is easy to see if a club is not there). I tested the current club clip shaft size (0.37 inch dia) with PLA. The clip is a little tight right off the printer but when used a little it loosens up. So far I have played 2 full rounds of golf with these and they are holding up well.

If you want a bigger or smaller club clip size or bag clip size let me know in the comments and I will post another size. Also I put a decent amount of time in designing and testing this so if you want to buy me a cup of coffee (https://www.buymeacoffee.com/chrisstagg) to show your support that would be really appreciated.

Supports:

Yes

Resolution:

Infill:

Filament: Overture PLA White

Notes:

  • Print using supports only on the horizontal areas. I used PrusaSlicer to only add supports for <1° angle. The rest of the model is designed to print with no supports.
  • Use 4 perimeter walls. This makes the model mostly solid but works well with the clip springiness.
  • This was designed using 0.28 layer height so if you use a smaller layer height I am not sure how well things will fit together.
  • Make sure you do not have under extrusion as if you do then the bag clip will separate at the perimeters when flexed. But if you have proper extrusion that will not happen.
  • Print them in the orientation that the models are in already as that is the best for strength.
