3030 Latch 4-11-2020

Latch to hold Panel or other things to 3030 Extrusion.
This is a new design the is more resilient and stronger than my last design.
The tension is adjustable via the 3mm Hex screw.
I designed to hold on a 5mm thick surface.
The length of the Square keying allows for some adjustment for thicker surfaces.

Print instructions

9 mm hole in mounting surface I used a 3mm X 15 Hex screw Assemble by placing bottom post through 3030 side of mount surface. Assemble Top on bottom post from opposite side and push together. Screw together and adjust for tension. Remember... you can still easily break the Foot off the bottom if you have it connected and open a panel without unlatching first. See my panel in the picture. I had both top and left latches unlatched but not the bottom right. When i opened the panel, the leverage broke the foot off. Easy fix though... Just print a new bottom.
