Description
Print a pair of these brackets and set a standard Schedule 40 3/4" diameter PVC pipe on them for a simple and strong wall-mounted spool holder. The spacing between the brackets and PVC pipe length are your choice.
Schedule 40 3/4" pipe is about 1.06 inches or 27 mm outside diameter.
These brackets mount to screws that are set in the wall using simple slots. This is to ensure that these are easily removable if necessary. The top screw can be optionally tightened for a more secure and permanent setup.
Screw slots are sized for #6 coarse threaded pan-head screws (screw head diameter of approximately 7mm, with 3.5mm major diameter threads). I used drywall anchors, but of course availability will vary by region.
Print with 0.25mm layer height. 3 perimeters minimum is recommended (I used 4), with 15% grid infill.
Note that supports are required at the screw slots.
