Description
There are already several Seahawks logo models on the internet, but I wasn't happy with the quality of them. The smooth curves always had straight segments which ruin the look, especially when scaled large.
So, I made my own version from scratch. The model will look fine printed in a single color, but it really shines if you do 4 colors. This would be really easy with an MMU, but since I don't have one I did it with manual color changes. If I remember right it requires around 30 color changes. The tricky thing with manual changes is making sure you load the right color at each change. I recommend pulling the program into the Prusa Gcode viewer so you can follow along on each layer and see which color you need to load next.
The filaments I used in my print were:
Atomic Bright White PLA
Prusament Royal Blue PLA Blend
Prusament Lime Green PLA Blend
TTYT3D Shine Silver Silk PLA
If you want to slice your own multicolor code, you can split the STL into parts in PrusaSlicer. Then, select each piece and pick a color for it.
