Description
---
By now I got around to printing and building it, on my printer the tolerances were fine and it turned out quite as imagined. Technically, the adjustment/folding feature works, but i found that after setting it up as i liked it, i never ever modified it. Nice to have the option though, hehe
---
IMPORTANT DISCLAMER:
This is a work in Progress and i have not yet gotten around to build it myself. Proceed with adequate caution. This is not something to print and it just works.
I am moving into a fancy new flat and thought I could refresh my Fusion360 Workflow a bit.
So find here: a DIY Clothes Rack that doesn't touch the floor, no no, It FLOATS.
And I made the design foldable, so should you ever need the space, just stow it away on the wall.
You will need:
2 x Screws with a Hook or an ear as pictured (M5)
2 x 5mm wood screws
6 x 5mm Wall Screws
2 x either more 5mm wood screws to act as hinges or 5mm threaded rods (I think that will give a cleaner look
2 x steel cables to act as the upper support and some means to attach them to the wall, I will just use more of those hook screws
your desired length of 28mm roundstock
The original .f3d file is attached, it is almost fully parametric. Changing the wood strength to your wood should certainly work. Please adjust for your needs and screw sizes.
Enjoy!
