Description
This is the 3d scan of the Bell X-1, the first plane to break the sound barrier. For more info check out the Britannica article.https://www.britannica.com/technology/X-1-airplane
This is a 3d scan from the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum of which I attribute full credit. I have touched this model up in Tinker cad to make it more printable but it still requires supports. I would use the preset printing orientation to preserve that aerospikes in your slicer. If you don't care about those it will look better being printed nose up. I have included a gcode with 0.15 mm layer heights and standard printing orientation.
