Description
I wanted to use fasteners without having to find the screwdriver I set down somewhere. Now I can…as soon as I find it to tighten these things up. Remix as you see fit for the fastener size you need/want. Backing it up with the captured nut insures it won't strip out the plastic if it were directly threaded into it. It's fairly low profile and works splendidly. I've printed them from PETG and PLA, but they seem heartier from PETG. They are small enough there's not much need for infill, make it 100%. I have support on the head side and print hex up. What little support critters remain, crush under the pressure of make-up torque. You will lose about 1/8" (3mm) of fastener length in the knob. They print fast enough with .2mm layers. Might even replace some PC screws with these.
