Description
I took the letter models of Kyle Falconer and multiplied the more frequently used letters, such as E, A and N.
Printing out these two files, you should be able to write most of the words you come up with. Without having an excess on seldomly used letters as X and Q.
I over-engineered a little on the letter frequency (table in Photos) by looking at multiple languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Swedish, Polish, Dutch and Czech. I oriented on the summative letter frequency of all these languages. From there, since there was some space left, I made some additional duplications to cover all names in my family.
You need to insert Ø4x2 magnets when the printer pauses. The magnets will be overprinted and are thus enclosed. This is important for safety reasons: Kids swallowing these magnets is a nightmare.
I generated .gcode files for 0.2 mm but also for 0.3 mm layer height. I usually get better results with 0.3 mm it's less stringy. (Somebody might be able to explain this in comments …?)
The pause for magnet insertion is integrated to the .gcode files. If you use the .stl files, be sure to insert a pause at the right layer.
No supports needed. I used Prusament Recycled PETG and the satin sheet, this gave me the perfect adhesion. Good adhesion is important when inserting the magnets.
