Description
When I inherited this antique cabinet from my late great-aunt, the bottom ornaments had been missing for decades. At the time of writing this cabinet is about 140 years old but is still strong enough to hold my 3D printer.
Old cabinet... missing ornaments... 3d printer... Wood filament!
Based on the top ornaments I designed the bottom ornaments and printed them with Sapelly wood filament.
The problem, missing ornaments.
Used the upper ornament as example to recreate the bottom ornament.
The resulting stl file. Yes, a grainy surface. But that's for wood-like finishing.
