spotify car thing desk mount

The spotify car thing is a device meant to control your phone while you are driving. I repurposed it to control my computer spotify app from my desk. (This requires no code, since any spotify app controls the device playing music. Therefore, the ‘car thing’ controls my phone, which in turn controls my PC spotify app).

Because the car thing is intended to be used in a car, the mounts it comes with are very car focused. This is a simple 3d print to mount the car thing at a 45 degree angle on a desk.

to use, take the magnetic mount apart by unscrewing the single screw on the back (i believe its a T9 screw). Take the part of the mount with the magnets, and press into the 3d print. you can then screw the 3d print to the mount via the hole in the bottom of the print. (any screwdriver with a shaft diameter less than 10.5mm should fit). There is an optional part uploaded as well to plug the hole.
