galileo's ( ellipse ) compass

this is a 3d printed version of a long lost galileo's compass which in its hay day was used to draw ellipses. This should be a fun toy for all those learning constructive geometry

Instructions

print in abs at .25mm layer height with 50% infill... For assembling you need a 5mm smooth rod, 4mm threaded rods , and 5 X 7 x 10 mm brass bushing and m3 bolts.....

it is fairly simple to assemble...

print two of the long arm file and one set of the other pieces
