Description
This is a cost-effective way of building an Acrylic-case with aluminium profiles thanks to the 3-in-1 corner-brackets that connects two profiles and a plate. You need 20 of these and quite costly to buy them. I've printed these in PETG with high infill (70%), but PLA and more shells with less infill probably works as well. The case probably won't get hot enough to make PLA unstable and the profiles stabilize the case anyway once all is connected. You might want additional mods to seal the (possibly bending) plates a bit better in the middle. I've included optional plate-clamps for the sides (not in the photos), but you want them to slide in while building the case since they need an open profile-end. Sealing the rims of the acrylic-plates with ‘U’-shaped ledges might be an option to get a better sealing as well, but from my tests with Gaffa-tape it's not much.
