Description
My chainsaw's carburetor has a secondary air inlet with its own valve plate. The lever in this model actuates that valve plate. A projection on the throttle linkage pushes this lever to open the valve plate at high speed.
While doing some maintenance on the saw, I noticed this part was cracked. I tried gluing the part, but it cracked in a second place when I put it back on. This part does not seem to be available for sale, buying a new carburetor is the only solution.
I made the outer perimeter as close to the original part as possible. I filled in the middle portion to make the model simpler. The part is so small, printing a solid part should not be an issue.
Consider the temperature stability and resistance to gasoline and oil when selecting the material for this part. I made it with PETG and used the saw for some moderate yard work without any issues.
