Description
I liked @Kinematic Digits version of the universal spool holder for Enders/Cr-10++, but I found it a bit fiddly to hold the two parts together when removing the “nut”, so I added some small holes that fit 8x3 disc magnets to keep them together when changing filament.
Sits over the stock spool holder, just like the original.
On my machine the magnet was a pressfit, depending on the tuning on yours, it might be advisable to add a dab of glue to keep them in place.
You need 4 8x3 magnets for this. (I tend to buy them from Ali express on the cheap)
