Description
This is a little contraption that allows you to hold down the button on your Pokeball Plus, so that you can use it with Pokemon Go and automatically catch anything that triggers it. It's possible to to this with a rubber band or the strap on the PB+, but it can be a hassle to re-do that all the time. This is designed with a simple clasp on top--snap it shut when you want the button held down, flip it open when you don't.
Supports are required for the top and clip pieces. Everything is oriented in the best direction for printing. I recommend using PETG, ABS, or similar for temperature resistance if you leave your ball in the car in the summer. Printing in matching colors is optional, but looks killer.
You will need 1x M3x25mm screw, 2x M3x10 screws, and 2x M3 nuts. The 10mm screws and nuts clamp the device onto the ball securely, and the 25mm screw is the hinge for the clip.
The pre-sliced gcode here is all parts on one plate in PETG.
Update: Added a v2 clip file, which has a deeper curve to it to help push the button harder. Recommend starting with the V1 file, and if it doesn't hold your button switch to the V2.
