Description
I made this 1/10th scale Pallet Jack with mechanical lifting.
Lifting or lowering by turning the M6 bolt by hand.
Will lift and carry at least 1,5kg.
Depending on the tolerances of your printer it may need some trimming and drilling out the holes.
The “Main Nut” should be only partly threaded or drilled to 5,5mm and forced on to the M6 screw and lock in place by friction.
This nut will be the part that bears the load when you turn the screw.
Hardware needed is:
1x M6x35mm Insex bolt
1x M6 Nut
2x M3x12mm (to fasten the front links to the frame)
2x M3x8mm (to fasten the front links to the height adjustment)
2x M3x8mm countersunk (to fasten the front wheels to the front wheel hub)
1x M3x6mm countersunk (to fasten the front wheel hub to the height adjustment)
Other sizes may fit, these are what I used.
No tapping required, the screws will make threads and lock in place.
The screws should not be tightened all the way but allow the parts to move.
All other links should have bits of 1,75mm filament as pins.
Choose between smooth or rugged front wheels.
