Description
This multi-compartment box has optional spaces for magnets for the lid and beneath each compartment, and can be customized using OpenSCAD.
The bottom can be printed as a separate piece (with tabs) to be glued on, in order to enclose the bottom magnets without having to pause the print.
Only the exact box I wanted when I made this, and two examples, are included as models.
To create boxes of other dimensions, for other magnet sizes, or other number of compartents, use OpenSCAD to set parameters and render the models.
The pictured (and included) box has 4 compartments which are 40×40×20mm. I used round flat neodymium magnets sized 4×1mm for the lid, and 15×2mm beneath each compartment (but slightly stronger or bigger bottom magnets maight).
(If you don't have anything to put in the box, it can be used as a fridge magnet.)
