Ski Flag / Skier Down Flag Holder

Holder to clamp a ski flag (skier down flag in some states) to a ski pylon. Keeps the flag visible from (likely) the highest point on the boat as well as eliminates the need to hold the flag at all times. Customizable to fit the size of your ski pylon.

Requires a nut and bolt. The STL here uses the following dimensions but it all can be customized in the source:

• 1/4"-20 x 1" hex head bolt
• ski pylon diameter of 35mm
• flag pole diameter of 0.425"
• 1.5" tall

Note that laws by location for when you can and must fly this flag, so be sure to check! I know of at least 4 variations:

• Flag must be up at all times a skier or tuber is out of the boat (including while underway). IL for example.
• Flag must be up when a skier / tuber is in the water, but "The flag should not be displayed while the vessel is underway towing the person(s) on water skis or other similar devices." MO for example.
• Flag must be up when a skier / tuber is in the water and can optionally be up while towing.
• Some locations do not require a flag at all.

Also be aware that waving and pointing a flag at the downed skier by hand when other boats approach is a very good idea!
