Strong modern drawer/cabinet knob
Hi there, thank you for your interest in my design. I made this design because I hate it when knobs turn when you grab them and they turn. This design helps with that by using two m3 screw holes. So there is no way it can turn :D. I made it multiple piece so you can easily access the screws when assembeling of disassembling
Print Setting/material:
- I used PETG, but PLA is also a good choice
- Detail print setting 0.12mm layer height.(necessary for the threads)
- 20% infill
- Recommend printing each piece individually, so you get no globs on the surface of your prints.
Assembly
- Clean up your new printed parts, for the best looks.
- Screw the base in place using 2 M3 screws.
- Screw the cover on top of the base, this requires a bit of pulling and turning at the same time. And click the cover on top of the base plate, to hide the screws.
- Screw the Top part on, And you have a nice knob ;)… on your drawer.
