iPhone Lightning-compatible cable connector case

Had my chinese off-brand lightning iPhone cable broken so I decided to strip the connector, resolder the cables and fit it into this little case.

Remember to insert the cable through the hole before soldering! :)

For better protection against pulling the cable, cover the circuit with a little bit of silicone.

Edit: Tried to open an original iPhone cable but had no luck, these things come heavily protected and one can't just go with your pliers into it…
