Portable Air Filter Frame

Frame for a portable air filter. Uses 2x120mm PC fans and a 6x10 MERV13 filter. Power with 5v USB with a 12v adapter. Works well from either USB-A or C with the appropriate kit.

The V2 design has more space inside to prevent the filter from hitting the fan. It also moves to separate foot pieces which are much stronger and hold the filter in place (print 4 of those).

I have added a second leg type which can be used if you want to put the filter on its side. This extends the leg to brace it and stop it from falling over. Use 2 of the tall legs. See pictures.

This will just barely fit on a Bambu X1 at 255.5mm wide. I am printing with PETG. I recommend using thick wall settings to make the sides around the filter stronger.

If anyone is trying to use this and struggling with the parts to build it out or other issues please comment and I will try to provide more detail assistance.

Actual filter performance will depend on the filters and fans used. I am not going to guess what the actual CFM or CADR will be. There are enough test floating around of similar PC fan + MERV 13 filter setups that I have convinced myself it's a valuable amount of air in the right places. YMMV
