Description

No walking across the room to get the remote. No leaning forward to pick it up off the coffee table. This wrist mounted remote control gauntlet keeps all your remotes exactly where you need them. Come college bowl season, you'll want to be the one sporting this bad boy.

It holds 5 remote controls. The clips can accommodate remotes from 42mm to 50mm wide. You should be able to scale up or down in X & Y (slightly) to handle larger or smaller remotes. (Do not scale in Z.)

Printing
I printed this in PLA but ASA or PETG should work too. This is a print-in-place model that has built-in supports that are designed for a layer height of exactly 0.2mm. (Leave your slicer's supports turned off. ) It also has small built-in brims at the tips of the clips that are prone to peeling.

Post Printing
After printing, remove the small brims and the built-in supports on the inside of the ring. To break it free, wiggle the armrest relative to the ring. You should hear some crunchy noises. Keep wiggling until the armrest breaks free and can slide along the inside of the ring. There are a couple of hidden 1-layer thick supports between the two parts that will crumble away, so you'll see a little bit of debris ejected from the slot.  Keep working the armrest around the ring until it feels fairly smooth. Apply a little lubricant to the inside of the groove, and the ring should be able to spin on the armrest.

Use 2 Velcro straps through the slots in the armrest to strap this to your forearm. Clip your remotes in place, and you are ready for an evening of completely idle entertainment!

Pro Tip (for anyone crazy enough to actually make one of these): Stick a piece of non-slip material (like soft foam weather stripping or a square of anti-slip rug material) to the underside of the arm rest. This will both pad your arm and keep  the armrest from sliding around on your arm.
