Description
Was very annoyed with the gruesome standard clamp of the Ikea Tertial architect lamp. The standard clamp simply wouldn't clamp on my Ikea Lisabo because of the chamfer on the underside of the table.
Heavily inspired by Morley Kert's video, I designed my own version for a clamp I had laying around.
My version is a bit less clunky and less complicated. It just slides on the clamp and could probably just be used in that way, but I also screwed a hole for a M4 bolt to fasten it securely. To know where to drill, I just slid the piece on and started drilling to make a mark on the clamp, before I took the piece off and finished drilling the hole.
The whole thing is mostly parameterized, so you can just download the Fusion 360 file and modify the design to fit your own clamp.
The whole thing can be printed standing upright.
The original first design should be printed in PETG, as it won't last long
printed in PLA, as
shown in the picture 🤪🤪🤪🤪
Made a stealthier design with thicker walls for the lamp hole, so the holder might survive longer printed in PLA.
