Description

Wanted to mount my PI under the display. This is what i came up with. Pretty happy with it for now.

First print the RaspberryPI Case from Sneaks with side rail mount. Then put this mount between the original display mount and the Ender.  Then you can mount the PI on the rail and the display a little bit higher on top.

The mount reuses the 3 screw holes on the side of the Ender 3 S1. The Holes for the “old” screws are 5mm (just reuse the old screws).  The 2 new holes are 3.9mm in diameter to fit M4x10mm screws (if you want). If you really want inserts, go ahead and change the step file :-).

Needed:

  • 2 M4x10m screws (optional, if you tighten the original screws good enough)

Note:

  • Since my PI4 Case kept opening, when i pushed it on the rail mount, i added a stabilizing “ring” around it. I added this to the list of stls, if you have a similar problem. Just slide it over the case, this prevents it from opening.
  • Just print it lying flat on the build plate. With 15% infill it's strong enough to hold the PI and the display without any problems.
  • There is about 1 cm space below the PI (cooling?)
  • The model is about 15g PLA with 3 walls and ~15 infill.
