Vizio TV Hidden/Mounted Remote Holder

As a kid growing up in the 80's, I looked forward to being grown up and having rooms full of stereo equipment and buttons, knobs, and blinky lights as far as I could stretch my imagination. Over the decades I outgrew that fantasy and prefer a simpler, cleaner world where things like remotes are not a focal point: I find the best place to keep the TV remote is right on the back of the TV, where it's out of sight and I always know where it is. 

The goal of this holder is to be:

• sturdy (snug fit for the remote, but enough room so it's easy in and out), 
• simple (small, no excess material used), 
• moderately attractive (in case anybody is poking around behind the TV), and
• easy to mount (enough flat surface to stick to the TV with Gorrilla tape).

This one is made to fit my Vizio TV remote, but could easily be modified to fit others. You could also mount it on the wall if you don't find that unsightly.
