Shade for Outdoor Light

Yep, I made a tube!

It's specifically sized to replace the lamp shade I broke for one of my two outdoor wall lights mounted on either side of my garage door. If you can't tell which one it is in the photo above, it's the one on the right.

I used the "spiral" (vase) setting in PrusaSlicer, and it just could not have turned out better. PETG is probably the "right" choice for a thing that's going to be outdoors. But, I printed mine in PLA because that's what I had in white. My lights are on the north side of the house, protected by some large trees, so they don't get a lot of direct sunlight. I did, however, spray paint the new shade with Krylon's "UV-Resistant" clear.

I'm posting this thing not because it's useful to anyone other than me, but because it might make someone think, "hey, there's a solution that would work for me too!"
