Description
This is a BIG print: the files are big, the outcome is big, and the print time is big. Be prepared for the long haul!
I would recommend printing with a 0.25mm nozzle to achieve fine detail, and using a 0.05mm layer height. Also turn OFF the “Fill Gaps” setting. I set a color change after the base was done (0.55 mm) to achieve the white-on-black look.
After all the map pieces are printed, put them together, maybe use some tape or other backing if you want rigidity. I used blue electrical tape (mistake-- should've used black but didn't have it on hand) and some old print scraps.
I framed it and added lights. It ended up looking pretty nice and sleek.
