Description
This circular connector is nice fit if you want solid and rigid threaded connector to your device! Configuration I made have 16 wires connection, but I think you can fit 19 wires at maximum.
To make full single connector you need to print:
As a source of male and female pins is used LPT cable - it is popular standard, you need to cut one to get those pins - I used microdrill and sand paper. To make connector you need to glue previously cut pins in the PinHolder part, hot glue and cyanoacrylate glue is enough.
Cable total diameter should be no bigger than 10mm. There is also place for cable tie to hold cable and you need to have 2x M3 screws with nuts to close connector. The pins raster is 3mm, but you can use different one or scale whole connector to feed your need.
I designed this connector as replacement of old equipment cable - couldn't find same connector at shop. The source device is old Mitutoyo laser scan micrometer LSM-3100.
