Enclosure for Smart LED Tradfri driver, IKEA Hack

IKEA Tradfri Home Smart is a great solution for home automation.
When it came to lighting the kitchen table, IKEA's driver solution was a big grey unit of only 10W (se photo) - there simply had to be a smarter solution...

My solution (Hack) is to use the cheap 19W power supply from IKEA (see picture) and move the ZigBee control board from the grey unit to a new much smaller 3D printed box.

It requires some soldering work and a few small screws, but then you have a solution that can draw up to 19W. Since the power supply is moved to the power outlet, it's easier to stash the little box away with the ZigBee control board.
