Description
I use external USB harddrives to back up my data.
My main computer has a midi-tower case, which means that the USB drives were always dangling around somewhere behind or besides or on the computer.
To provide a fixed (and secure) place, I designed this simple stand. It provides a space of 82 mm x 17.5 mm, which should fit most of the common external USB drives these days.
Just print it from any material that you like and in the layer height that you seem fit, there are no particular requirements. I printed mine from some black PLA.
The openings are there to save filament.
The “extension” slides under the side of the computer case and holds the thing in place.
