Description
This a topographic relief map of the Wrangell Mountains. Much of the Wrangell mountain range in eastern Alaska is within the Wrangell-Saint Elias National Park and Preserve. They are almost entirely volcanic in origin and include the second and third highest volcanoes in the United States, Mount Blackburn and Mount Sanford.
“Wrangell-St. Elias is a vast national park that rises from the ocean all the way up to 18,008 ft. At 13.2 million acres, the park is the same size as Yellowstone National Park, Yosemite National Park, and Switzerland combined! ” https://www.nps.gov/wrst/index.htm
