Description
Some of the adjustment knobs broke down on our “Diana” adjustable dressmaker's mannequin in the textile workshop at Stockholm Makerspace, so we designed and printed some replacements.
The design needs to be printed with some supports, to be able to print the small gear teeth flat, and it uses the 1.5mm steel pin from the original knob. Depending on the tuning of your printer, you might need to heat up the steel pin and push it through while hot to make sure it sits there real tight.
We printed ours in Taulman 680 nylon, at high temperature and low fan speed, to get them as strong as possible, and they've held up for over two years now.
