Description
🇲🇽 Welcome to Yucatán!
The Ancient Ruins Collection - Mesoamerica is a dedicated sub-collection about the legacy of past civilizations in parts of what is present-day Mexico and Central America.
This model was designed by Dany Sánchez , available in two versions:
The Arch of Labná (lab-NAH) is a beautiful structure in the small ancient Mayan city of Labná, in the Puuc region of the Yucatan peninsula of southeastern Mexico.
Labná is located south of Uxmal, and near Kabáh. It has an elaborately decorated gateway arch ("El Arco"). This structure is 3 m (9.8 ft) wide and 6 m high, featuring cut stone geometrical patterns on one side and bas-reliefs depicting two traditional Mayan huts and lattice fences on the other side. It also has a mask of the long-nosed rain-god Chaac in one corner. On top, it had three roof combs. It was most likely painted in red with details in other bright colors.
The arch is not an entrance to the city, but rather is a passageway between public areas, it is connected to buildings on both sides, marking a courtyard or square.
Labná was built in the Late and Terminal Classic era. A date corresponding to AD 862 is inscribed in the nearby palace.
A replica of the Arch of Labná exists at Garden of Five Senses in New Delhi, as a goodwill gesture of good relations between India and Mexico (from Wikipedia).

Suggested parameters:
For better details, print slow, such as 15 or 20mm/s for outer perimeters.
Fine-tune retraction to avoid stringing.
Perimeters: 2
Top layers: 3
Infill: as low as 12%
No supports needed, this has been optimized to eliminate all overhangs.
The reconstructed version model includes its own support for the nose of Chaac in the corner, you can cut or clip it after printing. Do not generate your own supports.
