YubiKey 5C cap

The YubiKey 5C is a great two-factor security key. It's very small & compact and perfect for modern laptops & most smartphones. It can be attached to a key ring with your other keys so you always have it at hand. However, the bare usb-c connector is unprotected, and dust/debis might build up.

This model is a protective cap that fits onto the usb-c connector and protects it. It's a tight fit at first, but loosens up over time to just a perfect snug fit. It has a slightly wider top to pull it of easily.

There's also an 8mm and 9mm version that are 0.9/1.1mm higher than my original design to handle tolerance differences and that allows to scale up or down a little bit without being too short to completely cover the connector.
